Hospital & Home Visiting Service

OSCAR Sandwell runs a free Home & Hospital Visiting Service to provide support to all its members.

What type of help is available?

Depending on the availability of a suitable volunteer or support worker we may be able to help with the following:

1. Assessment of needs
2. Completing Disability Living Allowance Form.
3. Providing company, someone to sit down and have a friendly chat with over a cup of tea.
4. Accompanying you on hospital visit.
5. Visits while you’re in hospital.

Once you join the Home & Hospital Visiting Service we will keep in regular contact with you to ensure you are happy with the service you receive from us and to offer other help and advice if needed.
You can refer yourself or someone else to the Service by contacting the office.
